About me
Hi! My name is Marisela Guillen. I'm a Latinx multidisciplinary designer focused on storytelling through design, animation, and illustration. I grew up creating traditional art and performing ballet which sparked my lifelong passion for telling stories. During my formative years, I also developed a love of activism, which you can see reflected in my work.
I aim to create designs with empathy and honesty in mind to form stories that accurately represent those they are about. To create empathetic designs that encourage people to learn about each other's experiences, I collaborate with educators and storytellers on visual solutions and representations of their messages.
